Vocab of the Day 1-31-12

Vocabulary time!  Do you know the meaning of this word?  How about the reading?

Last time’s vocabulary:

野望

Ambition, Aspiration

やぼう

The word 野望 can be used to describe someone’s ambition, aspirations.  For example, the new Pokemon game, Pokemon – Nobunaga no Yabou ポケモンノブナガの野望, means Nobunaga’s (name of character) Ambition.  The game is set in feudal Japan, and is a collaboration with a strategic RPG series called Nobunaga no Yabou (which was originally released for Sega Genesis).  Sure looks to be fun!

As usual, we’ll post next time’s answer with the new vocabulary.  If you think you know the answer, leave a comment :)
